From the territorial introspektion that she finished in an artistic residence in Ko Panqui, the visual artist Marjorie Chau realizes the work MIRA-WELENTUNGE, which questions violence in Chilean society.

In this sense, the exhibition proposal consists of an audiovisual projection into the room, in which the artist shows a human eye in the field of vision of a weapon. It is possible to hear and read a story in Mapudungun that denounces the margins of the current social conflict in this country.

Marjorie Chau is aware of the need for a dialogue on human rights on the part of the art world and translates various messages from the Spanish language into the Mapudungun language. These messages are a protest that is intended to inform about the violence perpetrated by the armed and law enforcement forces in Chile.

In this context, the artist collaborated with Neftalí Carinao, who interpreted various expressions from Spanish into Mapudungun, such as "Protests against social injustice in Chile, stop!" Carinao is a teacher of the Mapuche language and a passionate naturalist.

Aus der territorialen Introspektion, die sie in einer künstlerischen Residenz in Ko Panqui beendet hat, realisiert die bildende Künstlerin Marjorie Chau die Arbeit MIRA-WELENTUNGE, die die Gewalt in der chilenischen Gesellschaft hinterfragt. 

In diesem Sinne besteht der Ausstellungsvorschlag aus einer audiovisuellen Projektion in den Raum, in den die Künstlerin ein menschliches Auge zeigt, das sich im Blickfeld einer Waffe befindet. Dabei ist es möglich, eine Geschichte in Mapudungun zu hören und lesen ,die die Ränder des gegenwärtigen sozialen Konflikts in diesem Land anprangert.

Marjorie Chau ist sich der Notwendigkeit eines Dialogs seitens der Kunstwelt über die Menschenrechte bewusst und überträgt verschiedene Botschaften aus der spanischen Sprache in die Sprache der Mapudungun, die einen Protest darstellen, der über die von den Streitkräften und den Ordnungskräften in Chile ausgeübte Gewalt informieren soll.

In diesem Zusammenhang arbeitete der Künstler mit Neftalí Carinao zusammen, der verschiedene Ausdrücke vom Spanischen ins Mapudungun interpretierte, wie z.B.: "Proteste gegen soziale Ungerechtigkeit in Chile, stopp!" Carinao ist Lehrer der Mapuche-Sprache und leidenschaftlicher Naturforscher.

Desde la instrospección territorial que levantó en una residencia artística en Ko_Panqui, la artista visual Marjorie Chau realiza la obra MIRA-WELENTUNGE que cuestiona la violencia en la sociedad chilena.

En este sentido, la propuesta expositiva consta de una proyección audiovisual en el espacio la artista proyecta un ojo humano que está en la mira de un arma y donde es posible esuchar un relato en mapudungun que denuncia los ribetes del actual conflicto social en este país.

Marjorie Chau consciente de la necesidad de dialogar, por parte del mundo del arte, sobre los derechos humanos, transcribe desde el idioma español al mapudungun diferentes mensajes que son una protesta que pretende informar sobre la violencia ejercida por parte de las fuerzas armadas y de orden en Chile.

Bajo este contexto la artista trabajó con Neftalí Carinao quién interpretó diferentes frases desde el idioma español al mapudungun como por ejemplo: protestas contra la injusticia social en Chile, alto! Carinao es conocido como profesor de lengua mapuche y ferviente investigador de la naturaleza.
