It is a video-installation that builds a series of reflections and metaphors about the desertification of the native forests of the Wallmapu region in southern Chile.
For the production of this proposal, the visual artist Marjorie Chau collected a series of forest residues from the surroundings of various villages. So each of these branches were painted to simulate bone matter, a symbolism close to death and destruction.
Furthermore, this imaginary was syncretized with the mythology of the Kollones, who within the Mapuche worldview are, on the one hand, the guardians of the ceremonies and, on the other, the servants of the earth. They were named Kollones by the machi and only they could accompany her until her death and in much of her rituals.
ATMEN could also be defined as a prayer since it is possible to listen to one of the Kollones in Mapudungun verbalize how the river dries up, how the flowers do not grow, how the moon lost, it has lost its cycle; and when and where we lost our roots.

Es ist eine Videoinstallation, die eine Reihe von Reflexionen und Metaphern über die Wüstenbildung der einheimischen Wälder der Wallmapu-Region im Süden Chiles baut.
Für die Produktion dieses Vorschlags hat die bildende Künstlerin Marjorie Chau eine Reihe von Waldresten aus der Umgebung verschiedener Dörfer gesammelt. So wurde jeder dieser Zweige bemalt, um Knochenmaterial zu simulieren, eine Symbolik, die Tod und Zerstörung nahe ist.
Darüber hinaus wurde dieses Imaginäre mit der Mythologie der Kollonen synchronisiert, die im Weltbild der Mapuche einerseits die Hüter der Zeremonien und andererseits die Diener der Erde sind. Die Machi nannten sie Kollones und nur sie durften sie bis zu ihrem Tod und bei vielen ihrer Rituale begleiten.

Para la producción de esta propuesta, la artista visual Marjorie Chau recolectó una serie de residuos forestales desde los alrededores de diversas aldeas. Por lo que cada una de estas ramas fueron pintadas para simular materia ósea, una simbología cercana a la muerte y la destrucción.
Además este imaginario fue sincretizado con la mitología de los Kollones que dentro de la cosmovisión Mapuche son, por un lado, los guardianes de las ceremonias y, por otro, los servidores de la tierra. Fueron nombrados Kollones por la machi y solo ellos podían acompañarla hasta su muerte y en gran parte de sus rituales.
ATMEN también podría ser definido como una rogativa ya que es posible escuchar en mapudungun a uno de los Kollones verbalizar cómo el río se seca, cómo las flores no nacen, cómo la luna perdió ha perdido su ciclo; y cuándo y dónde perdimos nuestras raíces.
